The gaming mechanism of Luculent Ligature is very simple. In each round you will encounter a blank canvas that hides a drawing. You must move the pencil over it in order to reveal the design, until you point in which you can identify it. If you guess correctly then you will continue to the next level; however if you don't, you can return to the drawing, reveal another part and try again.

In Luculent Ligature the levels have an increasing level of difficulty, meaning that each time you will play, the designs are harder to identify, and depict more specific concepts. What's more, on your way through the canvas you will face obstacles like knives that will destroy the pencil if they reach it.
